  • 2. Legally competent,
  • 3. Completed 18 years of age in the month in which Election is going on…

Iraqi citizens, men and women, shall have the right to participate in public affairs and to enjoy political rights include the right to vote, elect and run for office.

 

Article 49, clause 1 states:

The Council of Representatives shall...be elected through a direct secret general ballot.
