Representation of the People Act (2011)

Section 5 states:

Subject to this Act, a person is entitled to vote in an election in a constituency, if on polling day, he is qualified and registered as an elector in that constituency, and his name appears on the current list to be used for that constituency.

 

Section 6, subsection 1 states:

Subject to section 7, a person shall be entitled to be registered as an elector in any one constituency if he—

  • (a) is a citizen of Grenada; or
  • (b) is a Commonwealth citizen, who has resided in Grenada for a period of at least twelve months immediately before the date of his registration;
  • (c) has attained the age of eighteen years; and
  • (d) is ordinarily resident in that constituency.

Section 32, section 2 states:

(a) Every Commonwealth citizen who has attained the prescribed age and who possesses such qualifications relating to residence or domicile in Grenada as Parliament may prescribe shall, unless he is disqualified by Parliament from registration as a voter for the purposes of elections of members of the House of Representatives, be entitled to be registered as such a voter under any law in that behalf, and no other person may be so registered…
