Event: Political Participation of Persons with Disabilities in East Africa

On November 1, the Pan African Network for Persons with Psychosocial Disabilities (PANPPD) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) will host a virtual event on the political rights of perons with psychosocial disabilities in East Africa. Speakers include: 

• Robinah Nakanwagi Alambuya, Founder and Director, Triumph
• Teopista Nannyanzi, Program Coordinator, PANPPD and Fellow, State Department Professional Fellows Program
• Wasawa Yona, Chairperson, National Council for Persons with Disabilities in Uganda and Executive Director, Concerted Effort for Rights Uganda (CERU)
