Section 29, subsection 1 states:
Any Danish citizen who permanently resides in Denmark and has reached the electoral age…shall be entitled to vote at general elections, unless the person in question has been declared legally incompetent….
Section 1 states:
1) Franchise for the local council and the regional council is held by every person who, on election day, is above 18 years of age, permanently resident in the municipality or region, respectively, and who also-
(3) Any person who has been deprived of his or her legal capacity under a guardianship order…of the Danish Guardianship Act shall not be entitled to vote.
Article 1 states:
(1) Franchise for the Folketing is held by every person of Danish nationality, who is above 18 years of age, and permanently resident in the realm, unless such person has been deprived of his or her legal capacity under a guardianship order, cf. section 6 of the Guardianship Act.
