In 2017, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) Kenya Electoral Assistance Program (KEAP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) supported the production of a video to inform voters about the process for party list nominations by the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC). All political parties must submit lists of successful aspirants to IEBC on or before 10th May, 2017. The Commission shall register all candidates for general election as follows:
Presidential and Senatorial -28th-29th May 2017
Member of County Assembly- 28th-31st May 2017
County Woman Member to the National Assembly-30th -31st May 2017
Gubernatorial and Members of National Assembly - 1st -2nd June 2017
Ensure that you fulfill all the requirements for their positions before the registration dates.
