Article 3 states:

All citizens who have attained (18) complete calendar years are entitled to vote except naturalized persons who have not completed the cool-off period required by Law following naturalization.

Article 43 states:

The citizen has the right to elect and nominate himself as a candidate in an election, as well as the right to demonstrate his opinion in a referendum. The law shall regulate the provisions regarding the practice of this right.

 

Article 63 states:

The House of Representatives consists of 301 members, who shall be elected in a secret, free and equal vote directly by the people.

 

Article 64, paragraph 1 states:

A voter must meet the following two conditions

  • (1) Be a Yemeni national;
  • (2) Be not less than eighteen years of age.
