Article 29 states:

Any discrimination based on sex, race, skin color, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion, worldview, political or any other views, belonging to a national minority, property status, birth, disability, age, or other personal or social circumstances shall be prohibited.

 

Article 48.1 states:

Citizens of the Republic of Armenia, which have attained the age of 18 on the day of an election to the National Assembly or on the day of a referendum, shall have the right to vote in such election and to take part in such referendum.

Article 48, part (4) states:

Persons declared as legally incapable by a court judgment that has entered into legal force, as well as persons convicted and serving sentence for the intentional commission of a grave crime by a court judgment that has entered into legal force may not vote and be elected, as well as take part in a referendum. Citizens convicted and serving a sentence for other crimes under a court judgment that has entered into legal force, shall not have the right to be elected.

 

Article 98.1 states:


The powers of a parliamentarian shall lapse upon...entry into legal force of a judgment declaring him as legally incapable,...

Article 27 states:

Citizens found to be incompetent by a court ruling, or duly convicted of a crime and serving a sentence may not vote or be elected.

 

Article 53 states:

In the event of the resignation of the President of the Republic, his or her passing, incapacity to perform his or her functions, or removal from office in accordance to Article 57 of the Constitution, special presidential elections shall be held on the fortieth day following the vacancy of the office…

 

Article 59 states:

In the event of the serious illness of the President of the Republic or of insurmountable obstacles affecting the performance of his or her duties, upon the recommendation of the Government and a determination by the Constitutional Court, the National Assembly shall adopt a resolution on the incapacity of the President of the Republic to exercise his or her duties with a minimum two thirds majority vote of the total number of deputies.

 

Article 67 states:

The powers of a Deputy shall terminate upon the expiration of the term of the National Assembly, upon the dissolution of the same, upon violation of the provisions of part I of Article 65 of. the Constitution, upon loss of citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, for unfounded absences from half of the floor votes during a single session upon being sentenced to imprisonment, when deemed incapacitated and upon his or her resignation.

 

Article 100 states:

The Constitutional Court, in accordance with the law:…

  • (7) shall determine whether the President of the Republic is incapable of continuing to perform his or her functions…
